Donations
Flowers are a beautiful tribute and are sent as a mark of respect to show they are thinking of you and your family. You would undoubtedly be very grateful, but the money spent on flowers can perhaps be put to better use elsewhere. This is why more families choose to have family flowers only or no flowers at all and instead requesting those that may have wished to send flowers make a donation.
The choice of charity is yours, but in making your choice you may consider the illness that may have caused their death, or perhaps a charity they supported during their life.
As a no charge service to our clients we will collect, collate, and forward to the chosen charity the donations on your behalf. We keep a list of who has contributed and this list is sent to you, together with the individual amounts and the total. Any accompanying cards or letters are also forwarded to you.
Donations can be made by hand on the day of the funeral to any of our staff, by post or online here.
