Musical Requirements

Music forms an important and emotive part of the service. Be it a favourite hymn, song or instrument it has a special significance that sometimes is difficult to put into words. Music can change the mood in an instant and can be used to create the appropriate atmosphere at the most significant time. Music does not have to be sombre and can be used to great effect to lift your spirit at the most difficult time. Even putting a smile on the congregations faces as they leave listening to your loved ones favourite song.
All crematoria and most Churches have the ability to play casket tapes or compact discs. Be aware though, some will refuse or have difficulty playing CDs burnt at home. We always recommend using originals when possible. Indeed, we will happily purchase the CD for you rather than have it fail on the day. Below are some of the other musical options open to you. |
